EL SOBRANTE LANDFILL
FIS installed a new 6 mmBtu/day landfill gas flare at the El Sobrante Landfill. We installed a new transformer to step down the site voltage from 12 kV to 480V. We also installed a control valve and modified the PLC control scheme to allow the new flare to work in conjunction with the existing flare and four engine generators.

LANDFILL GAS MICROBTURBINES
FIS performed the electrical installation of 10 Capstone microturbines running on landfill gas at the Calabasas Landfill. We designed, built and programmed the PLC-based control system for the landfill gas blower skid.

PALMDALE FUEL CELL
Frank's Industrial Services, Inc. performed the electrical installation of a 250 kW Fuel Cell at the Palmdale Wastewater Treatment Plant. We designed, built and programmed the PLC-based control system for the digester gas blower skid.

HONG KONG GAS TO ENERGY
FIS oversaw the overall engineering design of a landfill gas to energy project at the Green Valley Landfill in Hong Kong. We had the gas blower skid fabricated in the U.S. and shipped to Hong Kong. We also designed and built the PLC-based control system. The gas was directed to three Caterpillar 3516 engine-generators, a landfill gas flare, and a leachate incinerator.

SANTA BARBARA FUEL CELL PROJEC…
Frank's Industrial Services, Inc. performed the electrical installation of (2) 250 kW Fuel Cells at the Santa Barbara El Estero Wastewater Treatment Plant. We designed, built and programmed the PLC-based control system for the digester gas blower skid.

PUENTE HILLS LANDFILL
Frank's Industrial Services, Inc. performed the electrical installation of a new landfill gas blower station at the Puente Hills Landfill. The project also included a medium voltage distribution (4160V and 12kV) system for the distribution of site-generated power to the landfill and nearby wastewater plant.
